RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
From the time we are very young, we have many questions about God. St. John Newman seeks to help parishioners answer those questions and grow in their understanding of our religion. At St. John Newman we offer:

-
Religious Education classes for kindergarten through eighth grade.

-
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults for anyone or anyone interested in entering into Full Communion with the Catholic Church.

-
Youth Ministry for young people in 6th through 12th grade. The Youth Ministry is provided by United Catholic Youth Ministries which serves the parishes of St. Athanasius, St. Joan of Arc, St. Mary, and St. Nicholas as well as St. Athanasius School and Pope John XXIII School. The Youth Ministry has four pillars that support it –
-
Prayer and Worshi0p
-
Service and Mission
-
Youth Development of opportunities
-

-
Faith Formation

In addition, the SJN Women’s Club offers various programs for spiritual reflection and the SJA Men’s Club offers an annual silent retreat.
